Registered Massage Therapist

As a travel enthusiast, I have spent many years exploring the beauty of cultures around the globe. And it was in Kenya that I found my passion for health care. While volunteering in the remote village of Kisumu for four months, I was humbled by what little the people had and saddened by their often debilitating conditions. As food and water were sparse, illness and disease rampant it was an inspiring adventure I will never forget. It was this pivotal experience that propelled me into Massage Therapy, allowing me to interact with people and play an active role in supporting their health and well-being.

Attending the West Coast College of Massage Therapy allowed me to achieve North America's highest standard of education in the field. The 3000-hour curriculum focused on training in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports massage, Joint Mobilizations, Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention.

I strive to help clients enhance and/or maintain function by restoring mobility (through stretch and strengthening routines), and preventing dysfunction in order to achieve optimal health. At The Foundation for Integrated Health, my goal is to create a professional and comfortable environment where I can focus on the individual and care for their specific needs.

As a local to the North Shore mountains, seawalls and trails, leading a healthy lifestyle has always been a priority. I continue to stay active on a community ice hockey team (with the hopes of playing in an Olympic gold medal game). After all, physical activity (along with dreams) is what keeps us young and healthy!
